Case-Study

While supporting Subaru’s logistics needs in the U.S., TCG learned of a challenge the company faced in Europe: Distributors in more than 20 countries, representing approximately 20 different languages, were printing their branding materials separately. Each distributor was spending valuable time working with local printers, missing out on the substantial cost benefits of consolidation, and making independent decisions on the nuances of color choice and paper selection.

TCG offered a solution. By taking leadership of the printing process for all European distributors, we enable Subaru to save significantly on printing expenses, because of a sizable drop in unit cost and a reduction in set-up charges. In addition, we ensure that every piece — from sales brochures to paint chip charts, has the same branding feel in Belgium and Germany as it does in Greece and — perhaps most importantly — in Japan, where the company’s designs originate.

One dedicated TCG team oversees the entire process, adjusting their work hours to accommodate the various time zones of the client. Our team members travel to Europe regularly to be on-site for production. They coordinate printing decisions, conduct press checks and oversee the shipment details. Our team makes sure that distributors in every country end up with the materials they need, in the right language and the right quantity, on time so that our client, Subaru, can focus all of their energies on making and selling their vehicles.

From The Client

"TCG Interntional is one of the most reliable suppliers we ever worked with. Not only keeping the tight schedule under the tight budget and delivering high quality materials, but also they are always looking into new possibilities and business improvements for us. Even though we are located in two different continents and have 9 hours of time differences, we never felt this as an issue. They are always a phone call away, unless they are here helping us."
